Thanks Neil, you comment means so much, I am happy you enjoyed our songs and Rick's traditional country voice. Cheryl

Two thumz up, Cheryl!!

His singing reminds me of George Jones... kinda. You were right. I liked "Pictures are the Memories" as well. Nice to hear that trad' country sound and story-telling I grew up listening to (I'm a "pre-Zoomer") in daddy's car...

cheers!

Just got a chance to listen to two of our recent recorded tracks, currently in production. Man I can't wait to share this material with you guys! It sounds good!

Also left me with that strange sensation I get when listening back to session work and I wonder if any of you players get the same "flashback-to-the-day-in-the-studio" sensation? For me, I hear EVERY note, flub, missed note, better ideas for this section or that, and so on... It's true, our work is never done.

Anyhow. We have a producer joining us all the way from Kingston, Jamaica to add a little island sound and feel to our music. Coming soon...

P.S. I may have to start a blog to as soon as I have more interesting bits and bytes to share. I'll keep you posted on when I will start posting.

I just added a YouTube video featuring Nomfusi Gotyana, a fast-rising star from South Africa. I had the privilege of meeting her and dancing my butt off to her music this past weekend in the Calgary Afrikadey! festival...

Dare I mention...

I had the grand privilege of jamming with Mr. Hare a while ago in Eric V's rumpus room. And. It. Was. Awesome!

If you can remember the days (not so long ago) when musicians played the music that INSPIRED the invention of today's sequencers -- with their fingers! -- you should not miss the August 20th date at the Orbit Room.

As and added bonus, you will have a chance to meet your Zoomer Musicians admin (that's me!)... I'll confirm that for you, though, as I'm in the middle of a heavy rehearse and recording schedule (and it is kinda short notice, there Will!) for the next few weeks. If I don't make on the 20th, I will plan to attend in September.

Chime in if you can make it out and we can all have a drink together!

Cheers all!
