I joined Zoomers a few weeks agao but have not had a lot of time to become familiar with the variety available on this site. Live in the Yonge/ Eglinton area and enjoy the hustle and bustle, Torontonian since 1961, previously Hamilton, Ont. and London (U.K.)

I'm involved in a great new web site that helps people find the best restaurants and eateries - and makes them experts at home in the kitchen. Please let me know what you think of www.whosindakitchen.com.

Welcome to Ontario - Mississauga in particular. You might find this link very helpful - I've joined a couple of sites and really enjoyed meeting the people :- http://www.meetup.com/find/

I'm trying to update www.whosindakitchen.com. This is an online restaurant listing. If you have favourite restaurants, please share some with us!

I was in High Park yesterday too. I took my grandson to a ballgame at 9 a.m. and it started to rain heavily. We stuck it out and after the game we went to the Grendadier Restaurant for breakfast. We then walked all the way to Queen Street and saw many birds and many beautiful blossoming trees. Maybe we passed each othr Angela.

I have only lived in the city of Toronto for the last 2 years - always in the suburbs before and yesterday was my first visit to High Park (with my walking group "Snail's Pace Walk and Talk) - after the rain early in the morning the sun came out and it was lovely. Will have to make another visit there in the summer. It's a pity there is not more parks like this in Toronto - ones that you can walk around easily without having to climb hills like Mr.Everest (Sherwood Park near Mt. Pleasant ) as an example.

Just visited the British Isles show at the Queen E. building yesterday - lots of British food items, genealogy displays and Scottish Dancing and Irish dancing plus a terrific MC called Hugo Straney (fantastic voice) and a Beatles tribute band called 'The Britles' - also terrific. Still on today!!
