My friend and I both ordered liver and onions which was really good and then frozen yogurt for dessert. I really did enjoy it. What a busy corner.

Yes, Nellie - there's such a big menu there it's hard to make a decision - I know you'll enjoy it.

I am off to Yonge & Eglinton to have lunch at the Pickle Barrel. The food is very good there. It is upstairs in the Yonge Eglinton Centre.

I live in the Yonge/Eglinton area - just for the last 2 years after moving from the suburbs in Burlington. Quite a change! I have joined a few 'Meetup Groups' which I have found very useful if you're new in town:

Hi Wayne, I was born in Montreal in 1941 and moved to Toronto in 1951. I have been here ever since. I am going with my grandson to High Park again this summer. I love it. Probably would never had gone back if it were not for the baseball. It is at the north west end of the park. Maybe I'll see you there. Lots of fun.

Lovely day in Toronto. There has been so much going on here this summer. Last weekend we had a East Asian Festival at Harbour Front and a Greek Festival on the Danforth. Things seem to be a little quieter now. So much to do and see here that I am surprised more people aren't commenting.
