Hi. He's one of my all time favourites too. Did any of you see the show that came to the Royal Alex back in the late 80's staring an English actor? He acted out Jolie's whole life and you would have sworn it was him. He looked like him and when you closed your eyes you would have sworn it was him singing. We had to sit way up in the Gods, but it didn't matter, i soaked it all up.

Lost count of how many times I watched The Jazz Singer. Jolson changed entertainment forever. My Dad, rest his soul, did a great rendition of April Showers. Never got tired of hearing it over and over.
