Had a great experience Friday evening attending a CBC NXNW Cheryl McKay interview with Rob Kapilow. Anyone else seen or heard of him? A pianist, composer, conductor, and entertainer of tremendous ability. You can catch the interview broadcast on CBC 1 Saturday and Sunday morning (2 parts) I think it's this coming weekend. Check the schedule. Some of his stories are hilarious, - especially about studying with Nadia Boulanger when he was 19.

As of right now, I will no longer be listening to 96.3fm on a regular basis. In less than an hour, I have heard that revolting Skin Zinc commercial three times. When I wrote commercials for a small-city radio station, we had to change them frequently. This same putrid Skin Zinc ad has not changed in several years. I know the radio stations have to air the material they are given and paid to run, but could they not at least inform the sponsors that they are a big turnoff.

Like Joan, I wrote and asked them to ramp up the reception....we don't get it well out here either. Lets all ask, maybe it will help. I know we can stream it on the computer but my laptop speakers aren't great and that doesn't help in the car. It's a long commute without any great music to start the day especially since CBC went eclectic at rush hour!

I just watched Un Ballo in Maschera with Luciano Pavarotti and Aprile Millo while working out in my gym this morning. I can't believe how much I enjoy these DVDs that I've had for many years. Every time I watch them I see something I missed before. The joy of growing old is having time to smell the roses. I wish all my zoomer buddies a very Happy New Year

Hi there I am also new here and I know what you are saying regarding when the kids are growing up I would put my music on and all I would hear is nasty comments from the peanut galary it is s nice now I can listen to what I want in without the dialogue my favorite right now is
