A young lad from Ontario has died quickly from the swine flu.
Several others have & will............
I get normal flu shot yrly for several yrs...........got the flu shot past Friday. I now have sore throat......... it is said the shot does not give you the flu. Expect it could be from my husband who just had cold he picked up when we were visiting New York City.
I also am over 65 yrs.
I get respiratory problems yrly..............as in bronchites, etc.
I will not risk death whatever, by not getting the swine flu vaccine.

Where do you live................What do your friends say?

Donna in New Brunswick.

So as my decision not to get the H1N1 shot,i was only oblize to have shot before when i was working in the Nursing home 10 years ago and it made me more sicker than when i don't have the Flu shot, its been 4 years now that i don't have it and i'm fine,if i feel my throat is itchy, its the sign of catching cold and cough, also you feel your head is heavy.
I had this home remedy that our Ancestor's pass to us,all of us have this in our kitchen.
1/2 tsp.table salt
1 tbsp.apple cidar vinigar
1 glass of warm water
Gargle this mixture 3 times a day. What the salt do is loosen the virus that stock on your throat and the vinegar also will dis-infect it,so by gargling and spitting those stuff in your throat it clense and take those unwanted germs to get in your body,so if your able to get rid of it on time, your safe,i had it 2 weeks ago and i regularly gargle 3 times a day even if my throat is not itchy, just a precaution.Theres no harm in trying,so pass this to all friends and relatives,i share it to all,so as to help one another. an

In ancient times vinegar is a dis-infectant and was use to clean the house along with soda specially to those people that are allergy to chemicals.
Try to take your spoons porks, knives, plates, soak it on your sink filled it with hot water, put a cup of white vinegar 1 tbsp od baking soda, liquid dish ditergent soak for 10 minutes and rinse it after and walla... all those expensive chemicals for cleaning, erase it on your shopping list.
Let me know after you do and give the fed-back.

One thing is, clean your nostrills with Q-tips,dip the Q-tips with the vinegar and salt and clean your nostrills with it and repeat cleaning the second Q-tips with only warm water.
Mind you ,our nostrills is use to strain all the pollution that we inhale,so by dis-infecting it or cleaninig it, it means we are at least taking out the germs that will enter in our system or body.

This is very important too,and the health Authority don't mention this to the public, even if how much you wash your hands, how much you gargle the vinegar, how many shots we have but you are still handling money, bills or coins, the germs are there, form one hand into another,so money isn't disinfected right? so common sense if we keep on handling those,we wil be all sick, right? avoid useing those at this time Debit or Visa etc,is advisable cause its your own its not from one hand into the others. On the Pandemic season avoid those, its my idea only, what about yours what can you say.

No way will I get a flu shot .Check out www.mercola.com search H1N1 he has tons of information on why you shouldn't get the shot. It's all a big money maker for the drug companies who contribute to many of the politicians campaign funds.Remember the bird flu 2006 that didn't happen, well all the vaccine the government bought then is now reaching it's 3year shelf life and the government is using it up also.

I also have no intention of getting this vaccine specially after watching this video: http://www.attitudeproductions.com/flu/

I've read Dr. Mercola's articles and articles by Mike Adams (the Health Ranger).
What they and others say makes sense to me, and there's no way either my husband (Zee) or I would get the H1N1 flu shot. Even before the issue of H1N1, we felt that regular flu shots were detrimental, we've never had those either. My husband has not had the flu in over 22 years, even though at 73, he has many chronic health issues.

I want to take a moment to share what I experienced this afternoon in a hospital.
Zee was receiving dialysis treatment and I went to pay for our parking pass.
As I walked near the front entrance, there was a floor display and people were handing out cake. I'm always disappointed to see people giving out junk food or trying to sell it to raise money for schools, etc., because I know it's bad for all of us. Especially when it's being made available in a health care facility. At the same time, I'm always happy to find a freebie, especially if it's chocolate cake, since we keep nothing with sucrose in the house anymore.

As I got closer, I realized the display was promoting getting the H1N1 flu shot.
There were petri dishes with growths collected from paper money, coughs, toilet seats, etc.
Brochures, pamphlets, like the numerous ones being sent in snail mail recently.
If I agreed to answer a questionnaire about the H1N1 / regular flu,
I would be entered in a draw for a basket brimming with chocolate bars, popcorn, etc. and I would be rewarded with a piece of chocolate cake.
I thought: How about helping to educate the public to not want to eat cake
or to win a basket, to keep one's blood sugars down,
to maintain one's health ?
I declined the questionnaire and no longer had interest in the cake.
Serves me right for being attracted in the first place.
How sad that we can be swayed with sweets
that have nothing to do with the health we seek.
Public service? What a sad joke.

First I wasn't going to bother getting H1N1 shot because it seems like an awful lot of hype. After all, more than 4000 people die in Canada alone every year, just from the regular flu, and they don't seem to make that big a deal about that. The H1N1 seems to be a much milder form of flu for most people, and I'm not in the age group that is most affected.

Then someone I knew died of it last week. She was in the hospital for a week, but didn't make it. So that pretty well changed my mind. I was definitely going to get the shot.

However, I'm over that now. I'm not in the age group it's hitting. In fact, being born before 1950, I'm in an age group that is apparently pretty well immune to the thing. Now watching the news of these long line ups and wait times, I know I'd never be able to stand there that long. So we'll see. One thing about being older is that by the time it's our turn, we'll have a better idea if people are having any kind of reaction to it. Right now, the H1N1 is running rampet in my area, so likely it will have passed by the time it's my turn for a shot anyway.
.......and I'm not sure I'd want BOTH shots in one year anyway. Somehow that just doesn't sound like a good idea to me......
